01 / THE AWARD

A global benchmark,
assessed in Hong Kong.

MIKE — Most Innovative Knowledge Enterprise — is a global benchmarking study and award that assesses how well an organisation creates, shares and applies knowledge. It builds on the original MAKE (Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise) Award, previously conducted by Teleos, and today compares knowledge-driven performance across regions worldwide.

The Hong Kong chapter has been co-organised by Arup University and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University since 2018. Award recipients in Hong Kong are benchmarked alongside winners from other regions, and the strongest performers go forward to the Global MIKE Award.

The Hong Kong MIKE Award presentation forms part of the forum, where winners share the knowledge practices behind their results. AKIF 2027 continues that tradition, alongside the practical work of this year’s winners.
